Consequently, users who install the latest version will receive notifications from the new platform. However, those who haven’t updated yet will cease receiving push notifications. To mitigate this, organizations face the dilemma of either forcing an app update or adopting a simpler approach: migrating the device tokens from the old platform to the new one.
